Yes. We do recommend sealing it to help protect against food and grease stains.

How long do tile floors last compared with LVP?

Tile lasts 20 to 50+ years with proper maintenance, though grout lines may need periodic cleaning or resealing. LVP lasts 10 to 25 years depending on the thickness of the protective wear layer.

What should I bring to the showroom when I am picking tile?

Photos of the space, inspiration images, and notes about pets, kids, traffic, moisture and timeline. A cabinet door, a paint chip or a counter sample helps too, since we can hold the tile right against them and narrow the options by durability, upkeep and budget.
