Granite being 100% natural rock that is mined out of the ground cut to fit and install. It is considered low maintenance with annual sealing required.

Quartz being 95% ground up quartz stone, other minerals and colorants. It is manufactured into an engineered stone. Maintenance is considered almost non- existent.   It needs no sealing or attention.

Quartz and Granite are usually installed in bathroom and kitchens.
